Be A Peace Builder
Violence Introduction:
- Direct Violence: use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm.
- Structural Violence: some social structure or social institution may harm people by preventing them from meeting their basic needs classism, elitism, ethnocentrism, nationalism, speciesism, racism, and sexism.
- Cultural Violence: used to justify or legitimize direct or structural violence, and may be exemplified by religion and ideology, language and art, empirical science and formal science.
Feelings We Share:
It's an indescribable feeling of guilt that being incapable of changing the fact of these types of violence are being used everywhere and in public, some people are even forced to do violence in order to survive.
For direct violence, it's more related to other kinds of violence, as when someone or some group feels the difference of the other person they use the direct violence, we can't argue that Violence is the complete opposite to Peace and it's number 1 barrier to achieving peace.
Peace happens when there is no violence, which makes any kind of violence a big barrier as it causes war and undesirable actions to happen.
No human being is Violent by nature, it all grows for some certain purposes or benefits.
Achieving Peace:
Education – The only solution for Violence is Education, and by that I mean to educate younger generations To love and to accept, teaching youth self-awareness and be open. Sharing culture and traditions, Understanding the human being, what does it mean to be a human.
Always to start with the younger generations, as it is harder to teach elder people to understand because it’s been years for them sticking on the same level of mindset that their parents taught or the activities their culture do. So from that perspective if we start putting education system not only for schools but also for parents to help the kids grow in a grow mind set to stick with them to the rest of their lives, Only then we can achieve peace.
